1 Sketch a Box

On sketch paper, sketch a box following the steps in the Two-Point Perspective Box demonstration in Chapter 1. Include the back side, along with the horizon and vanishing points. Extend the line for the horizon beyond the right vanishing point.

2 Add the Shadow Vanishing Point and the Construct Vanishing Point

Place a dot on the horizon as the shadow vanishing point. Add a vertical line down from the shadow vanishing point and place a dot as the construct vanishing point. This is done on the opposite side of the scene from where the light is coming from.
